Makes new edition when the law is the same just to get broke law students $!

they change the pages around from the old edition, add a few words and bang you are out $200 when you could get an older copy for less than a quarter the price. Buy the old edition use the index/table of contents and save some $ (but not time)

Law Student - Frustrated with kindle edition

I ordered the kindle version, and it does not provide page numbers, contrary to the description! Buyer beware - if the professor assigns by page number, you will have to do a little bit of extra homework to figure out the real assignment.
Otherwise, I'm not sure yet if it is a good book. Maybe I'll have a follow-up at the end of the semester, but I'm not a legal expert, so my review on that aspect might not be very valuable.

A Headache: Both Literally and Figuratively

It is comforting to see the label on the back of the book for "Sustainable Forestry Initiative Program," what what it works to sustain is beyond me. Is it sustaining the high cost of textbooks with pages so glossy that their glare not only injures my sight but makes it near-impossible to write margin notes in pencil for the sake of "sustaining" the condition of the book? Is it sustaining rampant typos as glaring as the glossy pages? Is it sustaining absolutely random and unnecessary bright red headlines and tidbits about people whose history will not help me pass this class or a bar exam?
Who the hell thought this was a great idea? Was that individual NOT a law student? Did they never write margin notes in pencil? Did they never really just want the case to get to the fugging point? Did they never have the foresight to think that their awful choice in page consistency renders studying under any kind of light absolutely useless?
Please, if you are a professor, don't require this textbook. If you are a student subjected to the greedy whims of professors and authors alike, I am so very sorry you have to endure this... this... wretched item. It is an abomination of both substance and composition.
