this is undeniably the worst book of the Death Gate Cycle

Hard not to get weighed down in the slow moving book, but totally worth the read. this is undeniably the worst book of the Death Gate Cycle, but I miss this teams ability to gain momentum and keep you enthralled. Read this book if only for the background to move on to book 2. Seems a waste of time, but it's worth it.

Most imaginative world building out there.

My favorite fantasy/sci-fi hybrid series of all time. You owe it to yourself to read this seven book series. I recently gifted to a friend, who was mildly (and perhaps courteously) interested. It took him about two weeks to crack the first book, and about two weeks to read the rest of the seven book epic.
